STEM Research & Design
STEM Research and Design is a one semester Honors Science elective course centered around scientific inquiry, research, measurement, and problem solving. The goal is to develop the student's ability to ask questions, define problems, develop and use models, plan and carry out investigations analyze and interpret data, use mathematics and computational thinking, construct explanations and design solutions, and communicate information. This course integrates in-depth lecture, seminar and laboratory experiences to achieve its goal
STEM Engineering Design is a new one semester Honors Science elective course offering beginning in the fall 2021. This course will introduce students to the principles of electronics, programming, physical computing and 3D design and modeling software. Students will use the engineering design process and skills developed throughout the course to create solutions to problems.
