Timeless Teachings in a Changing World (The Mystery Returns in the Spring of 2022)
The Science Mystery is an annual interdisciplinary activity involving all the science subjects, including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Anatomy, and Environmental Science. Students from each of these classes perform experiments and gather evidence over a two-and-a-half week period to resolve a Mystery created by the faculty on current news topics, often incorporating local environmental issues. What Killed the Woolly Mammoth?
All the science students at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy investigate the remains of a Woolly Mammoth found preserved in ice to determine its cause of death
C.S.I. Lourdes: The Everglades Mystery
A fisherman was found dead in Everglades National Park. OLLA students combine the skills learned in their respective science courses to determine how and why this man died in "C.S.I. Lourdes."
